Last summer I bought my son a set of new tires for his car at Sears in Staten Island N.Y. We are on a fixed income so I told the salesperson that I wanted only the tires with balancing. After I returned home and looked at my receipt I noticed that they had done a wheel alignment on the car which cost an additional $80! I called the store and spoke to the supposed manager who told me that sears would refund the money since I did not ask for a wheel alignment. He took my credit card number and said there would be a refund. I never received that money back! I called Sears again and complained telling them that when sears gives a wheel alignment in the Advertisements it states that you will get a readout at the beginning of your wheel alignment and also at the end to show you that the work was done, we were never given any of that information of course than I would have know I was getting a wheel alignment that I did'nt want (I actually don't even know if a wheel alignment was even done I may have just been charged for it since there is no proof that it was done) I was told they would look into it. I never heard anything until finally I received a letter saying that they would not give me a refund unless I give them more proof!!! What kind of proof did could I possibly give to prove this??? Sears is a ripoff!!!
