Superlifts, superior lifts, Dustin Rose, Keith Goolsby, superlifts.com, car lifts, single post lifts Fraud, scam, buyer beware. Collect 50% deposit and do not deliver any product

Www.Superlifts.com appears to have closed down due to financial reasons and now I have lost my money. Don't buy a car lift from Superlifts car lifts or you will lose your money. Superlifts (Dustin Rose was my salesperson and main contact) has been taking orders and deposits but not delivering product. I paid a 50% deposit ($3800) for a single post car lift (that costs $7600 total) on April 12. It was supposed to be delivered and installed by Superlifts May 15. It is now August 11 and I have nothing and the superlifts appears to be shut down.

Dustin Rose from www.Superlifts.com has given me every excuse in the book from "been real busy a Barrett-Jackson shows... Taking so many orders" to "we had floods and tornados here that have caused havoc" to "we're having troubling getting a hydraulic part" to "this is what happens when we rely on other suppliers for parts." After months of delays, (and me emailing him 1x per week asking for status) I did research and saw other complaints about superlifts.com. I called Dustin about my concerns. Dustin Rose assured me that although they have had some delays in the past, everyone gets their lift or their money back. I did some research and found out they used to be Superior Lifts (but had the same website www.superlifts.com) but went out of business last year. Now I don't feel so good. I bring the new info up to Dustin and he says an employee embezzled a lot of money from them and that's why they went out of business but assured me they were still a manufacturer of lifts and that I would get my single post car lift.

When more time passes, I've been told excuse after excuse (which now turn out to be blatant lies from Dustin Rose) and no lift or response, I ask to speak to the owner. Dustin Rose tells me Keith Goolsby's (the owner of Superlifts) brother had a bad accident and is in a coma and so the owners are not available to talk. I feel badly about the accident but where does that leave me and my $3800? I tell them there are obviously problems and I feel badly about their family member, I perhaps it's better at this time for everyone if I just get my money back. Dustin quickly switches from the slick fast talking salesman to "well I don't know about anything about that, you'll have to talk to a Goolsby but they are not available."

Know I am starting to see that I am not going to get a lift and I am going to loose my money. Over time I eventually get to talking to Keith Goolsby and I again give him my sympathies about his brother and nicely explain how I've waited since April, been strung along and would just like my money back. He agrees to refund my money, apologies and says he'll do it right away. He gave more excuses (needed to deposit money into an account fiorst, etc). So after 8 days and still no credit, I filed a dispute with my CC company. I call Keith and ask why he still has not refunded my money and how once again Superlifts has strung me along with lies, and false promises. Now he says because you filed a cc dispute. I explained that's an insurance policy in case he does not refund me. I agreed to keep this quiet and cancel the dispute if he would just refund the money. The next day I called and the automated message says "www.Superlifts.com is closed pending the granting of a power of attorney..."

It is now August 11 and I have not receive my lift and they company appears to be closed down (it even says so on their automated tel message). I am attempting to get my money back thru legal recourse and by disputing the charges with my credit card company. Keith Goolsby did respond to my email and said, "you would be best to get your lift from someone else and I will not dispute your cc claim. Here is the name of the company we buy our single post lifts from... (and he gave me the real manufacturers contact info)" At least hopefully I'll get my money back from the credit card co and he was nice enough to provide me with the manufacturer. However the 5 month ordeal was a nightmare. There are a lot of things I left out (for brevity!).

Long story short: Do not fall prey to www.Superlifts.com or fast talking Dustin Rose like I did. Dustin Rose is a fast talking cheat who repeatedly lied to me. Superlifts.com ripped me off and are scammers. Www.Superlifts.com strung me along, committed fraud and eventually stole my $3800 and never delivered. I couldn't have been more patient and a gentleman to these scammers. If you encounter Dustin Rose at BArret-Jackson or if he starts a car lift company, I would hold onto my wallet.

In the end I hope Mr. Goolsby's brother ends up ok, but in regards to automobile car lifts and single post car lifts, I would run away from superlifts.com.

Sincerely,

A true victim who was burned by Dustin Rose, Keith Goolsby and www.Superlifts.com
(everything in here was not only truth, but slanted towards giving them the benefit of the doubt— in reality it was much worse than I make it sound).
