I applied for a new car loan online around the first of Feb. A Mr. Mike Gardner contacted me about a week later and informed me that they could finance a new car for me. I went and test drove the car and liked it. They were supplied with all the necessary forms from me, such as w-2 form and a recent pay stub. They let me take possesion of the car on Feb. 19 after signing the paperwork and assured me the financing had gone through.
They contacted me a week later and had me come in and sign more paperwork after i faxed them the necessary information again for the second time, because they said due to my income my payments would go from 383.00 a month to 353.00 a month. My first payment was due on the 20 of May. Now they called me at work on May 17 and requested the car back because the financing hadnt gone through. I contacted the finance company a week before and they requested a copy of my w-2 and recent check stubb, which I faxed and they assured me at that time that the loan would go through.
Now they want the car back. They have already gotten rid of my trade in and refuse to replace it. Im out a car and will lose my job due to no transportation. They really ripped me off and wont give me any answers and the dealership blames the finance company and vice versa. Why did they let me drive a new car off the lot with no financing? It is just unbelievable. I was ripped off plain and simple. Scammed out of a car, extra insurance payments, and will lose my job.
