Duo-Therm Copper freon tubes very poor quality of material

We purchased a Campmaster Roadmaster Toy Hauler that had a Dometic Duo-Therm Brisk Air Roof Top Air Conditioner/Heater, Non-Ducted. After only two trips the air conditioner quit blowing cold air. Why? Because the copper lines that house the freon cracked, leaking the freon out. First called RV center where purchased. It was to expensive to fix so we bought a new one. With only 30 hours on the new one, and after only two trips in 3 years, the same thing happened, the copper lines cracked or broke. One line cracked where it leads into the compressor, the other line cracked only a few inches beyond the first crack. I called my air conditioner repair person and as soon as they looked at it they said, well I can see right away that the material they used for the copper lines was not heavy gauged or rugged enough to travel down the road on a camping trailer like mine. They would have to soldier the lines, tap into the system to recharge, etc. Why? Because the air conditoner is a sealed unit. Does it state this in the owners maual that comes with the air conditioner, NO! Why? I believe so you have to go out and buy another air contioner if you happen to run on a bumpy road, and want to ever "be cooled by your air conditioners" and ever use your trailer again! These systems are not cheap, above $500.00. I checked on who manufactured the Campmaster Roadmaster Toy Hauler, or MURV. Roadmaster LLC. When I googled I found a man by the name of Craig Swisher, in Goshen, Indiana. When I googled Dometic, they are also located in Indiana. I wonder if these two got together and figured to make a fortune off of replacing Roof Top Air Conditioners.
I wonder if the trailer is even designed well enough to handle a roof top air conditioner, this system weighs 100 pounds, so maybe the roof is not built strong enough to handle 100 pounds bouncing on top of it going down the road.
Do not buy a Campmaster/Roadmaster Travel Trailer, and do not buy a Duo Therm Air Conditioner if you are going to travel on a bumpy road.
