I contacted Affordable Auto Repair via telephone to give them an issue that my car was having with the A/C they told me to bring it in for a diagnostic. I was given an A/C diagnostic after they had tested it with the proper equiptment and inspection and was told to replace the expansion valve and receiver/drier. My car stayed in their possession for 10 days for a 3.3 book-hour job, despite being told it would be ready after a couple hours. I was told twice that my car was ready and drove across town to pick it up. Both times I was turned away and informed it was not ready.
I called on one last time and was told it was working and paid. Once I started the car, I noticed immediately that the A/C was not functioning at all, which was reported at the time to an employee. I was informed by another driver that my hood was not completely latched in. I pulled over and it still wouldnt shut; the latch mechanism was bent and saw that my hood was dented along the front due to the technician trying to forcefully shut it, as I later found out and was admitted by a technician.
