I bought a hub assembly from VIP in 3/03. It had a lifetime warranty on it. The receipt nor the store said only exchange on lifetime warrantys. The hub assembly went bad 3/04 and I had to go to NAPA to get a new one because I couldn't wait for VIP to get the new one in.
I went in to get my money back and they told me that they thought it wasn't their part and that they had to order a new one to compare them. I was then called the next day and told that they couldn't get the part.
I called the main VIP office and they told me they only do exchanges not refunds on lifetime warrantys. I asked him why the receipt, store, nor the person at VIP say that. He changed the subject and wouldn't tell me. Then I told him the store said they couldn't get the part. He then said they could try again or I could take it to another store and see if they would give me a refund.
