Napa will not honor lifetime warranty and lied to better business bureau 2255 airport blvd

I bought a clutch from NAPA with a lifetime warranty. The clutch now needs to be replaced. I went to NAPA to get the part and the store manager said they did not carry that part number any more and would not honor the lifetime warranty. I then called Mike Brasille, the District Manager who said he would investigate and get back to me. It has now been a month and I have had no response from him.

I then contacted Renz Edwards (Distribution General Manager) who said he would get back to me and he has not responded.

My next step was to contact the Better Business Bureau. I filed a report with them and they responded immediately. A couple of days later, Mr. Brasille called my home and thought he had called the Better Business Bureau. He stated that he didn't understand the problem as he had ordered the part and it had been in the store for 3 weeks and that he did not have my phone number to contact me. At this point I advised him that he was not talking to the Better Business Bureau, but the customer. Mr. Brasille then advised me that he would have to have the old clutch before giving me the new part.

I then made arrangements on my day off to take the old clutch out and install the new clutch. I called the store and was advised that they did not have the part. I spoke with the Assistant Manager (Glenn) who said he did not have the part, did not know anything about this situation, could not contact the Store Manager (Tom Strayer) or the District Manager (Mike Brasille) and suggested I call back on Monday.

They have out and out lied to me and the Better Business Bureau about having the part in stock and not having my contact information as Mr. Brasille called me thinking he called the Better Business Bureau.

This is unacceptable customer service at the least and may qualify as a Bad Faith Suit. I will be contacting the Magistrate's Office in Cayce, South Carolina to see how proceed.

Why should I have to go through this for a $150.00 part that probably cost them $30.00?

I would just like to get help from their Corporate Management at this point to resolve this issue and can't even get an idea of who to contact.
