I purchased a bumper off of Kid Import's website in early June. They were fairly quick to return my phone calls and e-mails on the bumper. Once purchased, the bumper shipped out pretty quickly. Not exceptional but not horrible customer service.
Once I received the bumper I saw the horrible condition in which it was in. I was afraid to not sign for the package and have the driver return it and not receive a refund from Kid Imports. I contacted them that day, and told them I would like to return the bumper. The person I spoke with told me that he would contact the company they purchased it from and get back to me.
I contacted an auto-body shop and had them check out my bumper, and see how much it would cost to fix it. I was astonished to hear that they could fix them bumper for 2x what I initially paid for it just to have it in a decent condition.
Kid Imports never get back to me. I took pictures of the bumper, and I called and e-mailed them many times. They would not even give me the chance to return the bumper, or return any calls or e-mails.
I am currently deployed, as I am a member of the United States Air Force. Unfortunately my preparation time for my deployment took all my time away from me that I planned on spending taking this company to small claims court.
I hope that someone will teach this company, and all others like the meaning of justice. That one cannot simply steal another's hard-earned money via the internet. That is essentially what they did to me. I hope someone will stand up and fight for this injustice, just like I am fighting for the United States of America.
