In 1997 we bought a car from carmax, and the same as with others they were not honest. First they sold us a lemon, it was in the shop so much the district mgr STEVE started bringing the car to me. What they say when you buy a car is if something is not working properly bring it back within 2 weeks and they will fix it.
They never fixed it. They even sent it to the garland shop to see if they could figure out the problem... NEVER DID... in the meantime we are paying for a car that is in the shop more then on the road... And it was only 1 year old! Finally we sent the car back after one year! Still was not fixed! Then we find out the (Bank) that finaced the car (FNAC) THEY ARE ACTUALLY CARMAX!
Then about a year and half ago they filled a lawsuit downtown at TARRANT COUNTY COURT... They want to sue us for what they say they didn't get at the sale of the car, so I got all my paperwork together that I saved from the car going back and forth, all the names of managers we involved etc anyway THIS IS VERY INTRESTING. I took the paper work to the court house, I paid money so we could have a Jury Trial, I was gonna prove, one, they sold us a lemon, two, they could not fix it! CARMAX DROPPED THE LAWSUIT... We never went to court! They are a very shady company!
