My name is Tom Mitchell. I used to live in McSherrystown, PA. My mom died in October. My uncle sent her remaining valuable UPS to my house, or what he thought was my new address, but he made a boo-boo and had it sent to my old address. They had no one to sign for it, since everyone in that neighborhood pretty much works in the day, the package was dropped of leaning against the door. Now it is 12/30/09 and I know it's to late to be hung up by holiday packages. The woman who lives in our old home said she dropped it off at the local Post Office. Anyone have an idea what the Post Office might have done with it? We will check tommorrow, but is there a rule that if something like that is dropped off at the Postal Service they must hold it for a certain amount of days? Thanks for your time Tom This is all I have of my mom's estate, a 9lb box with a book of poems and some pictures.
