After speaking to the online department i made an appointment to arrive. Granted this was a month ago and i have since purchased a vechile from classic chevrolet in grapevine.
I was some what greeted with arrogance from the sales person. I informed him that i had some pricing already from the site and was informed of all the rebates; so this should be simple. After some back in forth in the truck now it came down to the numbers. I was appalled at my trade value.."well they have to run it through the shop and it could need at least 1000.00 in service". Its an in warranty tahoe. Nothing wrong with it but i need a truck now since my wife has an suv. Then after going to speak to the manager we seem to be getting no where. Now the truck was an ad truck with all the rebates that gm offered; whether they applied to me or not. My wife went to the bathroom while i sat and figured numbers. She over heard the salesman talking to the mgr who said' fu*'em just tell them to get out of my store if they dont want it'. Again, i never heard language when all i am trying to do is buy the truck that was adversised at the price. Since at the end we seem to be going no where the woman who does the aftermarket tried to speak with me. Again, very arrogant and stuck up and was very proud of 399.00 window tint. I told my rep we are done and please dont call.
I left and called classic in the parking lot. Explained what i wanted and told them of my trade. He told me an email quote would be to me in 10 minutes or less; just needed to verify some things. I got a stock number with a completed work sheet in minutes. I was barely on the highway when we finished the deal. I got there and took out my personal belongings and went to finance. Done in 15 minutes! Now i know this takes a while but a company should stand behind what they print. It represents the moral fiber and character of the company. Do what you say el dorado... I am making sure to contact all my friends about the unethical bait and switch of the small town store and the abbrasive sales manager whose only language is profane...
