Right Toyota
Ripoff

Right Toyota screwed me too, or shall I say did me wrong. I had a 2001 Tundra I bought at another dealership in 2001 in Phoenix no problem. Had a lot of miles on it, I was working in Scottsdale in May hot as hell outside all day, went to kill some time as the lady I was working for wasn't home yet, so I went to the Toyota place to LOOK AROUND,

I was waited on by a new young salesman, I told him I was just looking, we talked a minute I said I would like to get into something and have lower payments as I was struggling with my payments. He said that wasn;t possible and I started to drive away then he stopped me and said wait we have a new program called the toyota touch.

Next thing I knew I was in his office and his manager took over, they ran my credit and said it's excellent, I could sell you 10 cars. He said we have A SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR PEOPLE WITH GOOD CREDIT, I was insisting on wanting a lower payment if I did ANYTHING.

They had taken my drivers license at some point. Anyway it was getting late and I said several times I would come back tomorrow, NO NO only FEW MORE MINUTES. I told them both I had been working all day I was hot, dirty, sweaty, and hungry.

They treat you like you are their best friend and it is hard to be rude. I finaLLy asked for my license back that I wanted to leave by now it was nearly 9;00 pm..

I even said look I am needing to make a call to California I need to leave, No nO you can use our phone, so I did.

Then I came back and they said how about if we give you this Toyota Touch deal, you can put as many miles as you want, have a brand new truck, drop it back off here in 3 years, we'll give you free maintence service for 1 year, free car washes and detailing and if you don't make the payments we will!!!

Well I was still relucent, I said but I need lower payments, Mark Goetti is the one that haD TAKEN OVER THIS DEAL, THE YOUNG SALESMAN NEVER said hardly another word, except to question something about his commission, which he was promptly told not to worry he 'd be taken care of..

Mark asked me at least 8 to 10 times during all this if I would please be sure to say in the survey I would be sent if I would give him a good report if he could get my payment to between 489.00 to 500.00,

I said well yea if it could be 489.00 I would consider it, He vanished, I sat and sat and waited to continue talking about how much was the price going to be, how much trade in for my truck, nothing happened I never saw him again, I was getting up to leave and the young guy said oh, go in the finacial guys office it's all taken care of...

By now it was after 9;00 pm, I was complaining about being tired and hungry, anyway, he was printing out papers like he was on speed, asking me quick questions so fast, I said how much for truck, he didn't know, he said just don't worry about that, I 'll juggle the figures, then he asked if I wanted gap ins. I said no, then I saw him type in yes, I said I told you no, no problem, it doesn't matter, I just juggle everything to get your payment down, then he shoves the papers in front of me and tells me where to sign.

I looked at it and was shocked at the final figure, He said but that's only if you keep it 5 yrs. You just drop it off in 3 yrs. It's the new deal we have, and you can put as many miles on it as you want. Then he hits me up for a thousand dollars. For what? You're 1st payment, What do you mean, My first Payment? Payments are usually in a month.

No not with this deal, 500.00 1st payment and 500.00 down payment, I balked and said yea but I just gave you guys my old truck. We went round and round, and I just gave in to have it over.

Yea I know really stupid, I went outside and they were transfering my stuff out of old into new, Shocking I thought, I thought I would come back the next day take my time, NO NO, this deal was happening at around 9;30 pm.

What an idiot I was that night. Next day after I had time to think all night I called and demanded my old truck back, a credit on credit card, No f - way, it finally got to the point that Mark G. Would not take my calls, avoided me, hung up on me.

Then I threatened to call the police, they said go ahead, we'll have you removed from the premises, then that manager hung up on me.

I am pissed off, and believe me if I could have done what I wanted to do I would have driven that f*ing new truck right through their show room window and f*ing killed them all,

Yes people should read the fine print, But I like a stupid 54 year old woman took them at their lying word.

The word lease was never mentioned, never never never!!!

I thought because i was flattered, buttered up about my great credit that the toyota touch was as i was told was a special program only for people like me.

I'm trying to get help with this, and I have had nothing but a letter of apology from one of their sales managers.

I WANT THEM TO TAKE THIS TRUCK BACK and I don't care if I ruin my credit. I just don't want the lender to get screwed and I don't want to get sued for the difference.
