Cactus Jack's Autos, Inc
Company of crooks from salespeople down to the finance department

One year ago we had the misfortune of setting foot on the car lot from hell. Because of economic times we were reduced to doing business with these types of criminals. We neede a vehicle to get back and forth to work. The salesman said the more you put down the better vehicle you get. We only had $500 to put down so that severely limited our choice as to what cars we could pick from. Our choices were one of two cars and unfortunately we chose the wrong one (could there have been a right choice?)
The next day we had the car back to them because of a loud thumping noise when whenever we hit a bump in the road. They said it was the driver's side wheel bearing. Then they said it was a motor mount. They said they replaced it but we still had the same problem. I told the salesperson that we wanted to put our own plates on it because we had vanity plates. He said that was fine and then a couple weeks later we got plates in the mail and the price was over $100. I called them and said we told them we wanted our own plates on and they said they didn't have a record of that so we had to keep the plates they "bought" for us. They were going to come and repossess the car if I didn't give them the money for the plates plus the payment for that week. All of the finance people are the rudest people I have ever dealt with and they just don't care.
We bought a convertible in which we could get the top down but couldn't get the top up withouth physically lifting it up. The car roof leaked and after we had a huge rainstorm the car started to smell like puke. On my way to work after the storm I heard sloshing in the trunk and it was full of water. My husband had to drill holes in the bottom of the trunk to get the water out.
After we tried drying the carpeting in the front on the passenger side, the smell got so bad, my husband had to cut the carpet out. On my way to work one day, during rush hour, the car stopped running all together and started smoking. I had to have someone push me to the side of the road to get out of the way of traffic. At that same time I had a wrecker come to tow the car back to the Cactus Jack lot on Camelback Road. They claimed they repossessed the car when in fact we gave it back to them. After a couple of weeks they called and said where is the payment? I said we weren't going to pay for it because they had the car back. They didn't even know the car was returned to them. They didn't offer to fix it or even look at it. Eventually they sold it for $274 (which right there tells you what it was worth) and I said I wasn't going to pay for something that wasn't worth the price in the first place.
They pray on hardworking people who try to get through the hard economic times and they don't care what they do to their customers when they are trying to get their money. We just got served with papers stating they will garnish our wages to recoup their money if we don't make payment arrangements with them immediately.
Don't buy from these people!!!
