First time my wife and I bought a car from brent brown they seemed friendly and wanted to put you in to a new car. We bought an 09 toyota in 08 and after about 6months they sent me a letter saying we owe them $600.00 because the payoff on our trade in was wrong. Which they called to get one. So after fighting with them and telling them it was theier fault they left me alone. Than in Nov. Of 08 I bought a ford from there Ford dealer ship and everything was fine up until last week (5/4/10) I recieved a phone call from them telling me I owe them $1,800.00 for a down payment I never gave them. I told the lady she was crazy because I gave cash to the person doing the paper work and they never would of let me take the car off the lot unless I paid, plus on my contract it saids cash down $1,800.00. She said that don`t mean nothing because it only means that is what I said I would put down. I said so you wait almost 18 months to tell me that I owe a down payment of $1800.00 she said they have up to seven years to collect it. She said if i paid cash I should have a reciept for it. Not many people save those for that long of a time. I knew she was hopeing I did not have one, but I did. Never heard back. Maybe in a few more months they will try it again. Don`t buy from them, they will come after you for more money months down the road. This has to be illegal
