I had a intake manifold blow up after only 29,000 miles. Because I had the car over 3 years by 4 months it costed $938 to repair.

We have had 5 recalls on this car and I felt that ford should pay for the repairs. When I called Ford they said to call Northtowne Lincoln Mercury to have a review done. The service manager there said that because I had not spent very much money there, except to buy the car, that I was not a good customer and he would not request a review.

Then he told me if I paid another $430 to have the 30,000 check-up done he would do the review and would probably get back $500. If I did not have the 30,000 mile check-up done, he would not consider a review. To me that is black-mail. Ford used to be a good car, but I will never buy another one.
