My 1998 Ford Windstar was for the second time being serviced at Malouf ford dealership in less than six months for a blown head gasket. Usual finger pointing between Ford and Fidelity Warranty as to why the work wasn't properly performed the first time.
The second time while in for repair, with the engine still ripped down, a fire starts and totals the van. Malouf Ford billed Fidelty Warranty (over $2000.00) for the entire cost to complete the job, which was never completed.
I made Fidelity aware of the situation and they diplomatically told me that it might strain the relationship between them. The only relationship they have is to screw the people who purchased cars and warranties through them.
