I bought the 72 months, 72,000 mile coverage for $1500 on a 2001 Mustang bought on 10-7.
The coverage, depending on mileage, starts at weird times. Mine was over 6,000 miles so it started January 1 NOT the date I bought the car like I was told. The fine print was NEVER provided by World Ford Pensacola. The car was not even built by Ford until 2. How can you have an extended warranty on a car that doesn't exist yet?
I took it in last week and found out that was the deal I stated above.
Well, apparently, according to World Ford Pensacola, Fidelity has changed to what I was told I was buying. Complaints of fraud perhaps?
World Ford Pensacola refused to admit their car salesmen lie so refused to honor what they sold me. Maybe they didn't know? Yes they did. They get a fat commission on it. They just ommit the details.
Fidelity's plans are overpriced since you can get the same thing from your car insurance company for about $500 not $1500.
Avoid these crooks altogether. After reading the fine print, it's not bumper to bumper either as I was sold it.
