I went into Purrfect (#1213190) to get my radiator fluid changed. When they had my van in the air, the manager comes and tells me the transmission fluid needs to be changed I said I don't think so but I let them do it.
When I left I didn't get a half mile away when my van wouldn't go and when I went back they discovered they hadn't filled the transmission with fluid.in about two weeks I noticed a puddle of transmission fluid in my parking spot.
I took it back and they told me the person who did the work had stripped the bolts in the pan but they would fix it but unfortunately it still leaks. When I confronted them again I asked to speak to the owner but they refused to tell me who owns it.
It is my opinion that since these are franchises they don't care whether the people who work there are qualified or not as long as they sell the franchise. As a result I will be forced to take it to a transmission shop and may have to have the housing replaced to fix the problem. Please remember I didn't ask for this service.
