I am a college student, my roommate told me that he does business online of purchasing clarion units from a distributor and selling them and he would show me what he does and introduece me to his business.
Looking at the car he was driving I believed him. Well he signed me up on PAypal and I had an account he also had an advert on ebay about the clarion units and he put it under my name and being a damn ass i consented.
Well guys wrote me emails regarding the units and my roommate gave them the details. Three guys sent me the money for the units each priced at $620 per piece and I gave the money to my roommate who sent a money order to the distributor Jack Binion.
The delivery was supposed to take two weeks and after two weeks passed without my room mate giving me the tracking numbers for the units I was woried. I requested my roommate to give me back the money I gave him since its him who started it all out but he declined and told me that it was my problem and he gave me the distibutors email and he said he did not have the phone number or address.
I contacted the distributor JAck Binion and he told me the Clarion units were on a backorder so I had to wait for a week. I wrote an email back to Jack requesting a refund and he lied to me that he sent a Check back.
A credit company sent me a letter stating that they owe me money. What action can i take against my roommate coz i gave him $1060 for the units. Upto now i have recieved no refund and the guys want their money back.
