Whiteoak Ford
Bait and switch fraud

I approached Whiteoak Ford on Saturday October 31 about an advertised unique on the web. I talked with Jimmy Kulchysky, a salesman in the dealer and experienced the point by-line funding about the Ford f 150 pricing promoted. Lewis stated that they'd automobiles in-stock though colors were restricted until I went using the XLT deal (one more $2K).

Ray recommended the cost could be accessible until end-of-day December 2. After I named nowadays to create a scheduled appointment to see and get the automobile, Lewis recommended the vehicle was no more available. After I noticed that the vehicle was still marketed using the same cost, ($24,995), he explained that there have been no further accessible, and also the best price he'd was $28K for that same year, automobile, and design.

I then talked with revenue director Bill Cliff, and dealer denver-operator Dave McQuillan. All stated the same, they could not honor the publicized offer.

I approached Ford Europe since this "baitandswitch" exercise is terrible. Honda Canada could see exactly the same advertised value on the web, as well as stated that there is not-too much they might do except contact the dealer and provide them feedback.

I told Dave McQuillen that I'd be calling Honda Europe and he explained they could not do something.in my opinion this sort of reaction to customer criticism is just a challenge. It appears tome that misleading marketing methods are too-common and honestly, vehicle shops have sufficient issues with observed insufficient ethics to perpetuate it within this apparent method. I have currently completed some searches to determine if additional individuals are having an identical encounter so that as one customer claims, "go right ahead and contact Honda Europe concerning the dealer. Nobody can care."

I am worried about this dealer and also the insufficient ethics. It appears like I'm going to be purchasing a GM, that will be also poor, since all my prior automobiles have already been Fords. Nevertheless, if your dealer reacts in this way in the pointofsale, I can not imagine how sad the income experience could be.

I wonder how a number of other individuals have been jerked around by this dealer as well as their baitandswitch methods. I suppose the web has exposed an entire new method of conducting business, in which a dealer may publish a price to get a car after which back from it when requested to honor the web cost.

I am worried like a customer that there's such restricted option for these techniques. The dealer isn't held responsible for their conduct to Ford Canada. And, regardless of the thousands and thousands in marketing from Honda Europe with respect to the dealership, there appears to be small result for marketing fraud from the dealership.

So far as I am worried, Whiteoak Ford must have a brand new mantra, "We Are Individuals Also. Occasionally."
