I brought a 2000 sepia kia in December and the car had bad noise in the back of the car when I first bought. It would only do it sometimes when you would be going down the road and it would catch you off gaurd it would scare you and not only that but it would start jerking going do the road and it would die and would start right away.
My wife was driving it one day and and that happen to her and she like to got hit by another car. I had it carried to kia place a lot of times to try and to get them to fix it they would charged us to fix it but it never got fixed right anytime. First time they said it was the battery that caused it to die and I need a new one and they chared me for that and said it was fixed.
Then it started a gain with the car doing the same thing had it took again to them and they said it need oil changed and tune up and they charged me a gain for that they said they fixed it but they didn, t the car just keep getting worst. The car was suppose to be under warraty when I brought it but they never would stand behind it they charged me for having brought to them for being fixed. I keep telling them it wasn;t the battery it was something else but they said if you don;t pay for the battery we will charge you for the rental car they let me use until they got arounds to checking my car. After that thay never let me have a rental car when they keep me car over night.
I live a long way where I brought the car. I also rememmber when they did let me have a rental car, I was waiting along with this other for enterprise rental car to come pick us up to get our rental car and she was really mad at kia because she bought a new car she said from them and the windsheild leaked and they would never fixed it right everytime she took it back to be fixed. I mean she was really mad at them talking bad about them but anyway my car one time they worked on my car and charged me over $900.00 to fix it and it was supposed to be under warraty but they said what was wrong with it, it wasn;t covered not even having it brought to them what it costed.
I feel like they sold me a lemon. After a little over 2 yrs after having the car I felt it wasn;t safe to drive the check engine lite, air bag lite was on and the cars motor was making a bad noise, I knew I needed a new car for my wife and kid so I traded it off to another car dealer and they said that the car was in bad shape and it shouldn;t be only being a little over 2 yrs old. The car saleman I brought my new 2003 pontiac sunfire from that I traded in my 2000 sepia kia car said he remembers one time I took my kia to him when he worked in the shop at the car dealer and asked him if he could work on it he said we take warraty insurance that you have but we can;t work on kia car because we don;t have what we need to work on it here. He knows we tried to get the car fixed before. Where we brought the kia car they for got me after the first day I brought my car they act like they don;t even know me now but where I brought my 2003 pontiac sunfire they haven;t forgot me yet I get letters and calls aking me how the car is doing, if I am satified and thanks me for buying it.
I also like to let anyone know about kia cars and I am not the only one that has been done sorry by them go american classaction.com and I found there that kia is being sued for cars from 1998 to 2000 are breaking down and I also read story about how people had car wrecked and got hurt. I would never own ather kia car again. I hope they do something about this before more people gets hurt or even killed because of poor build cars. [email protected]
