My son has a 1995 Ford Probe which began having trans problems 12/02 I brought the car to AAmco Crystal Lake for repair 7 days and 2,100.00 had the car back. My son drove the car 3 weeks and the trans gave out again.
Took the car back and the repair center had the car for 4 weeks they would take it apart put it back together and test drive it and still was not working properly they finally called in a tech and found out one the pieces was installed backwards so the say anyway the son calls this weekend and car does not shift into reverse I call the C.L. Repair center and they tell me that this trans is tuff to fix and not really there fault.
I say than don't take on the job if you have no confidence in fixing it properly. Well the owner calls back and says he's short handed and couldn't get to it for a week so I tried another center because of course it is still under warranty so the story is not over.
