I took my Toyota Corolla to Spee Dee Lube in Neosho, Mo. To have my oil changed shortly after buying it in February.
The next time it was due for an oil change they were busy so I went to Wal Mart to have it changed. They called me back to the service desk and said that Spee Dee Lube had put my oil cap on crooked and they couldn't touch it.
I then went back to Spee Dee Lube. They said all was ok and changed my oil.
A month before I was due for another oil change my boyfriend noticed it was leaking oil. He crawled under it to have a look. The cap was on crooked and they had put some kind of goop around it to try to prevent leakage.
I had to haved it repaired at my local mechanic. It cost me $71.00. They had to retap the grooves on my oil pan, put on a new cap, and change my oil.
I took the receipt to Spee Dee Lube. The manager said he could do nothing about it because too much time had passed. The tech and the receptionist both remembered me being there previously and my complaint.
I recommend no one due business with these people! My engine could have burned up!
