I went to Maaco to have my 98 Mustang painted. It was black and I wanted it silver. First mistake. I got the most expensive paint job they offer with clear coat which came to a little over $1000. After bringing my car in the first time, they never got it done when they said they would and did not return phone calls.
Once painted, it had fingerprints and hair in the paint.in addition to them painting literally everything but the windows! (including key holes) They also painted inside the sife scoop which is supposed to remain black and over leather flaps that covered the hood hinges!
I was really upset since I had paid for the most expensive paint job and saw no difference than in their $200 job. I talked to the owner and he insisted it was not a factory paint job. Really? I had no idea I was not at Ford. He literally yelled at me calling me a liar and making me break down and cry. I am still in disbelief that the owner of a company would do that to a customer.
Finally he agreed to repaint it. It was better, but the rocker panels had smudges this time. I brought it in a third to to have those fixed.
Now, paint has already chipped off (which they don't cover even though it is probably because there are so many coats of paint from their mistakes). The hood is bubbling. I am literally afraid to even talk to the guy on the phone because of the way he treated me. I even took it to another Maaco to try and have it fixed but the corporate office kept sending me back to this one even after I specifically said I refused to work with this guy again. The other Maaco agreed with me that they did a horrible job.
I would absolutely not recommend using MAACO for any service. I am still in disbelief that they treat their customers so badly. Please do not go there and support such a business.
