Ron Bushey Auto Repair
Ripoff

Inspection month, and I needed a few things touched up to pass inspection. New wheel hub (lots of wheel hum), Alignment, and fix a stuck down window to make it passable. Didn't think I'd be having to deal with these problems for the next year.

I took it in and they said that they could get all of it done in just a few days. These days go by with no call, so i strike it up first. They say that they're still waiting on a couple parts so I let it slide. Finally after double the time it was supposed to take my car is ready.

They say that in addition to the wheel hub, they needed to order a new motor for the power windows, and found out that wasn't the only thing my windows needed. It also need 2 new switch boards. Then they give me the bill. A whopping $750. Then they slide in that the inspection was on the house. Thanks.

Two days after. Just two whole days, and my wheel sounds just as bad as the day I took it in. I asked them about it and they said it should go away with use.

Well a few months later, my wheel hub and bearings are even more shot than when I took them in. Probably 3x louder than before and now with a high pitched bearing sound. But thats not all, that alignment is shot as well, I didnt really notice too much of a difference when I got my car back from the shop, but now I really now my alignment is just flat out bad, especially when I'm braking.

Like if that's not enough, at about the same time I started noticing my window acting all sorts of funny again. Just getting stuck a little bit about an inch above the door.

Now, just today, something in my window snapped and shot right back into my door, broken again. Wheel hub feels like its going to seize up any day now. Alignment is completely horrible. That's not enough, because of my wheel hub, its really giving my shocks and brakes hell, so those are going to have to get touched up too. This is exactly 8 months after inspection.

I asked a mechanic buddy of mine and he said that my car is nowhere near inspectable even after it was claimed inspectable. Getting my car fixed was the last big chunk of money I had because withing the next week I had gotten laid off at my employer and have been extensively looking for work since then, and the only thing I have been able to get so far is a phonebook delivery job that uses my vehicle a lot. Saving up every penny to try and get my car away from a death trap with only a couple weeks to go. Now if I could only find a repair shop that isn't going to screw me.
