Do not sign a good faith contract with this dealership, because they don't know the meaning of good faith.
1.2 weeks after contract, they left a voicemail saying we had to re-sign. I called to inquire, was told by Tony in Finance that our rate had gone down. Drove 45 minutes to get there, to be told that we don't need to re-sign contract.
2.3 weeks after contract, recieved a decline from GMAC. Called to inquire, was told that it was an old letter and that there was just a glitch in the paperwork and that GMAC had approved. They even gave us a Dealer's Report of Sale, which listed GMAC as the lienholder and enabled us to register the vehicle.
3.4 weeks after contract, received a letter demanding return of vehicle and nullification of contract. Even though Nevada law gives them 15 days to do this, my wife drove the 40 minutes to return the car, just to be told they are holding us to the deal.inquiring when our trade-in would be paid off in that case, she was told Mon-Tue the following week. They also told her that they don't have the trade-in, which is either a lie or a violation of state law.
4. Today is Tuesday the following week from the discussion in the previous paragraph. Our old lender has received no pay-off, finance transfers us to the pay-off girl who explains that the loan hasn't been funded and they won't payoff the trade-in until the loan is funded. When I challenge the legality of them not paying off the trade-in within 30 days as required by law, she puts me on hold for 5 minutes and then transfers me to nowhere.
Chrysler has revoked United Dodge's dealership franchise, which may be why they seem entirely unconcerned about following state-mandated guidelines, much less ethical ones, but their website advertises that they are still there to help you. I strongly advise anyone who reads this not to make the long drive to United Dodge in Las Vegas.
