System Parking, Inc
Fraudulant/Swindel Business Practices, Parking, Downtown Orlando

On or about 06/24 I went to the Plaza Cinema Cafe in Orlando, Fla to see Transformers 2.

The building that the theater is in contracts with System Parking, Inc to manage the parking. The theater has an agreement to validate parking upto 3 hours.

When exiting I was stuck behind a line of cars. I was inline in well enought time to make it out before the 3 hours, however due to the wait for the cars to exit, it put me over the 3 hours.

I was in line trying to leave about 10 minutes before the 3 hour limit. However the back log of cars put me over the 3 hour limit. During those exits they seem to have workers there to conviently charge you $8.00 to leave and if you dont they threaten you with a $50.00 citation, apparently they have the power to do.

I asked about the validation they said they get paid by the theater for that time. I said then I should only have to pay the difference. Well they said that it didnt work that way.

So get this. They are getting paid by the theater, then at the expiration of the 3 hours they get the patron to pay AGAIN. Not just the difference but the WHOLE price. Even if what sent you over was not milling around downtown, but waiting inline to exit.

I contacted Mr. Phillips and he would said it was the properties policies that decided how this was managed, I asked for a contact person at the property but he would not give me that information. (so I could go no farther)

The theater in downtown Orlando, Fl was hoped to bring life and more business back to downtown.

I have searched www.sunbiz.org and found no valid corporation information for System Parking, Inc I did find several inactive corpoarations for System Parking, inc and several under the name of Thomas A Phillips listing Diana Phillips as an officer or manager. I check Illinois and their information online does not state it is acitve of not so I can not verify.

I have a complaint with the City of Orlando, I am going to the Tax Collectors office to get the contact information for the building management.
