The River Center Mall is located in downtown San antonio situated along the river walk which is a popular tourist area. The Mall offers parking lots as part of the mall property, and like all shopping malls, parking was free at one time; however over the past few years parking fees were imposed.
My particular complaint is the fees charged for parking. I spent an hour shopping and upon exiting was charged $6 and all I had was $5 The attendant would accept cash or personal check which I did not have. They would not accept my credit card so my only option was to sign a notice requiring me to send in a check for an additional $10. A total of $16 for an hours parking! I have lived in San Antonio for 12 yrs and hate to see the public ripped off to shop at mall! It certainly must leave a poor impression of the mall. I know they have lost my business
