I've a 2007 Mazda MX5 with 31k miles. I REALLY LIKE my vehicle!!! Lately, I experienced a ticking sound when increasing. I got it towards the seller plus they have figured the rod rotators are broken. Mazda has decided the motor must be changed at a price of $8k and certainly will not protect under my 36k guarantee! They declare that since I have was overdue on my oil-change, that's what triggered the harm. I take advantage of synthetic gas for my gas changes which needs changing every 6k miles, I'd an area of 9k miles between gas changes. Yes, I had been around, but which should not trigger my motor to crash! Mazda has recommended this occurs for their motors if late for an oil-change. Making me genuinely believe that anybody considering obtaining a Mazda must beware, contemplating how delicate the motor should be if being late for that oil-change causes this type of harm! Are you aware every other vehicle that might be this delicate??? There's obviously a deficiency within the motor that Mazda isn't taking responsibility for. Again, I REALLY LIKE my vehicle, but obviously can't warrant $8k to repair it and that I am shocked that Mazda won't remain behind their item. Any perception or comparable encounter??
