In may of 1996 i bought a 1995 mazda protege from university mazda with only 42 thousand miles on it. One day i was looking threw the owners manual and found a inspection receipt from november 1995 as i was looking over the receipt to see who's it was i looked at the vin number and seen it belonged to my mazda.
I saw the name of the previous owner which was an employee at unversity mazda where i bought the car from. As i looke over it i looked at the milage which was 64 thousand miles.
I called them and the said it was just a mistake, they wrote the wrong miles down. How can you write corret the vin number i mean not one number was wrong but mess the milage up by 22 thousand miles.
I tired the find a answer but got a big run around. Within two years of having the car i had both cv joints replaced and a engine. When i took the car to get fixed everyone keep telling me you shouldn't behaving these kind of problems with this car. I did all proper maintance
