Ray brandt - mercedes damaged by technician during repair. Ray brandt refuses to pay for repairs

On May 5 I took my 2004 CL Mercedes-Benz in for the repair of the front ball joints at Ray Brandt Motors. When I took my car to there shop for repair my suspension worked fine and was functioning properly. The only problem at this time were the squeaky front ball joints.

On May 8 I received a call from my service advisor and he informed me that the high pressure hydraulic hose was leaking on my car in addition to the squeaky front ball joints. I inquired about the price of the repair for the hydraulic hose with and without labor. I informed him to order the hydraulic hose and that I would have it put on once I returned to Houston, Texas.

On May 14 I received a call from my service advisor informing me that my car was ready for pick-up. When they drove my car around to deliver it to me, I noticed that my suspension was extremely low to the ground. I asked my service advisor what was the problem and he informed me that my car was this low to the ground due to the leak in the hydraulic line. I then gave him authorization to repair/replace the hydraulic line and to just call me once the repair was complete.

On May 20 I received a call from my service advisor informing me that my car was ready for pick-up. AGAIN, when they drove my car around to deliver it to me, I noticed that my suspension was extremely low to the ground. AGAIN, I asked my service advisor what was the problem and he informed me that my car was this low to the ground due my automatic body control (ABC) not being activated from the dashboard in my car. We both pressed the button in an attempt to get the suspension to lift off of the ground. However, my car still remained on the ground.

The dealership then ran a diagnostic test and informed me that the result of the diagnostic test was that ALL LEVELING SENSORS AND MY ABC PUMP PRESSURE WAS FUNCTIONING PROPERLY.

I was informed later by Ray Brandt Motors that they THOUGHT that my level sensors were bad and that they were going to replace them.

I informed them that i would not be paying for the sensors due to the fact that all leveling sensors and my abc pump pressure tested positive and was functioning properly. My car was not having this problem when i brought it in for repair. Therfore, this issue had to have been brought about by there negligence while re-assembling my car after the repair to the ball joints. They agreed and proceeded with the repairs to my car.

Later, I received a call from the General Manager at Ray Brandt Motors. He informed me that the replacing of the sensors did fix my problem and that they would initiate a call to Mercedes-Benz USA for technical support.

On June 9 I received a call from the General Manager at Ray Brandt Motors to inform me that my car was repaired and ready for pick-up. HOWEVER, WHEN I MADE IT THERE FOR PICK UP MY CAR WAS STILL EXTREMELY LOW TO THE GROUND AND IT HAD NOT BEEN FIXED AT ALL.

On june 10 i took my car to mercedes-benz of mobile. Mercedes-benz of mobile found that ray brandt motors had mounted both front level sensors incorrectly.

Mercedes-Benz of Mobile correctly mounted the sensors and my car lifted from the ground and to the correct height.

Ray brandt motors refused to pay for the repairs that were performed by mercedes-benz of mobile. Also ray brandt motors fraudgently initailuated a claim to my the company that i purchased my extended warranty through for the leveling sensor that they agreed to replace at no additional charge to me.

In lieu of presenting the above facts to the general manager of ray brandt motors and requesting a refund, the general manager rudely informed me three times to leave his dam showroom and to never bring my black a* there for service again.

I am now seeking legal action.
