I recently had to purchase a new vehicle because the vehilce I did have broke down and bascially it would cost more to fix the vehicle. So my dad and I decided to go and car hunt. After several failed attempts we tried United Hyundai. We were there for hours waiting for them to get the fianancing together. This was a Saturday afternoon I might add. All in all I was sold a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. At first I didn't think anything of it when they said that my credit was a little better than my dad's, but I still needed a co-signer. He agreed because I am a single mom of three and need reliable transportation. I post-dated a check and they basically keep running the check ahead of time.
This has ruined my banking account and now I have someone from California calling me hounding me for the money. The day I went to put the money in the bank I was told that I had all these fees which in turn has accured since I didn't realize they ran the check a total of three times before the due date of the check.
I have called them and to no avail have gottne no response.
They are a rip off and I wish I had known that before I agreed to buy a car from them.
