I got a Dodge vehicle from them. During the sale contract paperwork, the employee at the finance department that handled them was Karlyle Hill. From the beginning, he was obviously trying to rip off as much money as possible. First he added a extended warranty to my sales contract, which is a 4 yr / 48000 miles, for the price of $1688. I was appalled since the car price is only less than $6000. I thought the warranty is good but no way I am paying so much. So I bargained and wanted to walk away a few times. He relented and lower the price to $900, which to me was weird since he can REALLY lower the price. He told me that he earns money from how much he can raise the price of the warranty.
During the paperwork, he rushed me through them. At one point he gave me a paper for GAP insurance to sign, leaving the "Enrollment Charge" field in the paper empty and told me it is included in the extended warranty. So I signed it and got a carbon copy while he kept the original and one carbon copy.
Later I realized that a charge of $500 has been added to the finance amount for GAP insurance. So I went down to the store and tell them to give me their copy by saying I didnt have a copy. Karlyle was not there and his director gave me their copy. Tue enough, Mr Karlyle has entered an amount of $500 in the "Enrollment Charge" field in his original and carbon copy while my carbon copy did not have any charge. I am going to get the police to apprehend him for being a conman... Well I don't know whether that is possible yet, I am still talking to a lawyer.
In addition, the salesman have always been fighting among themselves. Once I saw the "salesman of the month" Mr Darrell Butler threw a pen at the manager for angering him. When I need to get a loaner car for some repair to the used car I bought, Mr Darrell Butler immediately started banging drawers and yelling at his manager while getting the paperwork for the loaner car.
In conclusion, Browns Arlington Honda is not only a fraudulent company but also has such bad services.
