Aubrey Misrepresented Rip-Off extended warranty contract and deceived consumer, Nationwide

I purchased a Certified Used car, a 2003 Honda, with 30,000 miles on it. Both my husband and I said we did not need insurance, we had our own. Mr. A... Gave me paperwork with my car contract to sign that included insurance payments. I did not realize he had included those papers BECAUSE WE HAD SAID "NO". After we LATER RECEIVED THE PAPERS IN THE MAIL and after MUCH debate, another sales manager retracted the insurance.

What a mess, though, with the financial institution. Then, I was presented with an extended warranty for my car. It was for 7 years or 100,000 miles, whichever came first. My husband listened along with me as Mr. A... Described that positive points of the warranty. He mentioned much of what was covered and what wasn't covered, and handed me a brochure that explained it, as well. We had never purchased a warranty before. Mr. A... Went to get a general manager who also said it was great, that he had gotten for his wife, and so on. It seemed a fair price, so we said yes.

NOW, I received a card in the mail from HONDA stating that my warranty is only good for 100,000 miles or until 5 YEARS FROM NOW!!! I went to the carbon copy of the CONTRACT AND THERE IT STATED THAT IF A VEHICLE HAD OVER 5,000 MILES on it, THE WARRANTY BEGINS ON JAN. 1, of the cars make. That meant that as of Jan. 1 MY WARRANTY WAS IN EFFECT! Are they kidding? I just paid $1,295 for someone else's warranty when they owned the car before me. That was not what i was told was going to happen when mr. A... Presented the warranty contract to me, with my husvand present. Not when the general manager was there too. You bet THAT WAS NEVER MENTIONED.

I feel that IS A VITAL POINT to anyone purchasing an extended warranty and THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD when the information was presented. You best believe I would NOT have purchased it had I known a year and a half had already expired. The fine print is what is NEVER MENTIONED and I feel I was deceived because THE TIME reference IS CRUCIAL TO THE CONTRACT. This is the SECOND misrepresented and deceitful action committed in one transaction. I am livid with what has been done! What can I do about it?
