I happened to read the consumer complaints of Mary from Illinois and it was as if I had written the report myself. Everything she described in her report was happening to me. I was just on the phone with a UACC representative being threatened by them because my payment was 2 days late. They had just left a letter at my mothers the night before saying I was in default of my contract because I was late with my payment and hadn't contacted them (which I had) I spoke with a representative a week before my payment was even due.
They called all of my references and completely filled up answering machines with harrassment calls. I mean friends and family are calling me upset because UACC are calling them 20 times or more in one day. They call my job even when told not to call because it could cause me to get fired.
I don't know how this company is getting away with all their illegal practices but something needs to be done. If a class action suite is filed my name will be on the top of the list.
