Auto expo great neck ny mastercars seven months no proper registration! I'm resident of nj car registered in maine! I'll have their dealer's licence. Lawsuit in preparation ronnie avi thomas

In mid September I bough at your dealership two cars, Ford F-150 '04 and Chrysler Pacifica '05 as a down payment I have left at their dealership my Hummer H2 '05. ($4500.00 net value (financed)
I have stressed numerous times in front of sales person Andrew, manager of their establishment Avi and other employees at their office that these cars upon purchase MUST be registered with my mother's name (J.K.).

I was assured many times that there will be no problems whatsoever as long as I will be able to find a co-signer of my mother's loan agreement. I asked my friend and business partner J.F. To help me with this - of course it was not a problem being that he supposed to be just a co-signer of loan.
The initial agreement (in presence of many people: sales person Andrew who initially close the deal with me, Avi manager of dealership, another salesman at the next desk, my mother J.K. And my wife M.K. Was that my Hummer's H2 ($4500.00) will apply in amount of $3000.00 as down payment for Chrysler Pacifica rest of it - $1500.00 will apply as down payment for Ford F-150.

At the time of our second visit where we sign loan documents, right before we sign paperwork Avi told us that he changed amount of down payment on his own volition explaining that my mother's credit score is really low and one of the banks require higher down payment even with a co-signer with excellent credit score.

My third trip to the dealership was with Jack F. (co-signer) driving from northern NJ thru crowded New York City to Great Neck with Jack's busy schedule it was not a pleasant experience I was trying to minimize amount of time we supposed to spend at the dealership (mostly because of Jack). That morning earlier Avi the manager assured me that everything is ready (all the paperwork is done) we would have to simply sign documents. Which we did - stupid me:)

I've scheduled pick up of both vehicles within couple of days. All the paperwork was done by dealership in the same time although Chrysler Pacifica was still at Chrysler service inspection (at least this was what I was told),
I've picked up Ford first and within couple of days I've picked up Chrysler.

Manager assured me that registration paperwork will be done within couple of days. A week after pick up of Chrysler when NJ registrations were still not ready to be picked up (manager told me that he is still working on it) I've requested dealership plates just to fill up spaces were registration plates supposed to be and again manager and salesperson assured me that they will send it right away via Fedex. After my repeated phone calls I drove there myself just to pick up these plates

NJ registration documents were still not ready (another employee responsible for titles and registrations stated that there is some problem with obtaining originals of titles from NY State) Then I found out that these cars will be registered in State of Maine first and after that in New Jersey - I was told, because of my mother's poor credit score, Avi without consulting me (or Jack for that matter) remove my mother name from loan documents, he explained that Maine State will allow him to re-register those two vehicles with my mother's name in NJ). And again I was assured that this process will take just a couple of days. Another week passed, I was calling Great Neck Suzuki Dealership almost every day! (My phone statement is showing 57 call total) And still paperwork was not done.

Almost three months after purchase I have received registration plates from State of Maine, I have had called dealership and I was informed by Thomas (owner of dealershipor at least that what I was told) that for sure by the end of the year I'll receive NJ registration cards and New Jersey plates - being that dealership is now waiting for releasing the title from Maine to New Jersey).in January Avi (manager) informed me that dealership have made a mistake and NJ DMV laws have changed and they will not register these vehicles with my mother's name because she is not present on loan papers!!!

I've contacted Thomas (the owner) simply because Avi was not picking up my phone calls, I have requested the date when I was supposed to return both vehicles and then I was told that I can't returned them. Although I was told that in case if something will go wrong, dealership will return my down payment and will accept both cars without questions.

I'd like to point out that Great Neck Suzuki AutoExpo registered both vehicles in State of Maine under name of J. And Jack F. Using non-existing address both owners on titles are residents on New Jersey and never been in Maine. Address under which those vehicles are registered is simply a strip of forest by the highway (I've checked with Google Earth)!!!

This letter serves as a warning.
I have requested:
- immediate return of both vehicles
- return of my down payment of $4500.00 (bank check)
- return of all fees associated with purchase of vehicles (bank check)
- I will request from judge to punish dealership with donation of $20.000.00 to charity in case when my requests will not be fulfilled I will pursue this case in the court of law.

In addition to all that above I'm prepared to notify all institutions involved or interested in this situation:
-NY Vehicle Safety Services & Clean Air divisions (dealer licensing department)
-Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) (State of Maine) fraudulent activities
-Maine State Police to investigate non existing registration address
-Office of Attorney General Brooklyn Regional Office (consumer complaint)

I'm in possession of copies of all documents concerning sales / dispute of sale of both vehicles including:
- e-mail that I have sent to the AutoExpo dealer (never had any response)
- copy of titles, registration and loan documentation
- statements from my phone company (57 phone calls within 5 months) including call durations

If somebody was ripped off by these people please contact me at maybe if we goet together we can close them:) i'm getting a lawyer anyway, so...
Sincerely very naive consumer

Since I realize what's going on i was talking to various car dealers in NJ they were laughing at me!!! They know them...!!! Check also BBB.
