Is a ripoff, they refuses to give security deposit & wants more money

My lease was up and I had to return my vehicle. I called the company who inspects the vehicle at the end of the lease. When i called the people, to make an appointment for them to inspect my vehicle, they didn't have any appointments until June. My vehicle had to be back in May. I called Chrysler Financial and told them that, the vehicle wasn't able to be inspected by thier company until the end of June. They told me to have the dealership inspect the vehicle.

I took the vehicle back to the original dealership that I had gotten the vehicle from. They Inspected the vehicle. They signed off on the vehicle that there was no damage. The leasing manager made copies of the paperwork and gave me copies. I left the dealership.

Approximately 4 weeks later I called chyrsler to find out what was going on with my security deposit. And they claimed that the dealership sent them paperwork stating that I had $800 worth of damage. And that they (chrysler Financial) is keeping my deposit of $634.00 And that I owed them money. I called the dealership that inspected my vehicle, and spoke to the leasing manager who inspected the vehicle, he looked in my file and me told me over the phone that there wasn't any damage. He faxed me the paperwork and it was the same paperwork that I had. I proceeded to call Chrysler financial and I also fax them the paperwork.

They told me that my vehicle wasn't supposed to be inspected by the dealership. That they stop having the dealer inspect end lease vehicles for years. And that when my vehicle went to auction that they (chrysler financial) inspected the vehicle and found $800 dollars in damage. So i told them that the dealership inspected the vehicle, and that if they weren't supposed to inspect the vehicle then the dealership would have not done so.

I am pretty sure that the dealer knows the rules and conditions of lease end vehicles, there not going to inspect a vehicle and sign of on it if they are not supposed to. They signed off on it that thier was no damage at all to the vehicle, I signed off on it. And i left the dealership. So, when i walked out that dealership. It was a done deal. They told me know. That they are not going by what the dealership says. And they want there money. I also proceeded to ask them questions such as what was the damage, nobody had an answer. I asked when was the vehicle picked up from the dealer, nobody had an answer.

I asked who and when was the vehicle inspected, Nobody had an anwer. How do i know what was done to that vehicle when i left that dealership? I was there when the leasing manager inspected the vehicle. There was know damage and he signed that there wasn't any damage. Now X amount of weeks later when chrysler gets the vehicle and takes it to auction. Right before auction they decide to inspect it. And then charge me for damages that wasn't there before. I don't think so, I will see Chrysler in court.
