Sucks Carb Clean Rip Off Lied about the cause of an engine light

I was traveling though the Mishawaka Indiana area, when the engine light in my Nissan Armada flashed on for a second. I took the truck directly to the Nissan Authorized Dealership.

A diagnosis was ran, and I was informed that the engine light came on because the were Two issues. One, the K&N air filter had caused carbon to back up in the airways, and Two, there was a spark plug malfunctioning.

I was told "by a Nissan certified Service manager" that I needed a tune-up, and I needed to have the carborator cleaned. Or the engine would be severly damaged.

I became suspicious, when the woman getting her Oil Changed was also informed he Airways where "restricted" in her Nissan, and another man in th ewaiting room was also informed the airways where being restricted in his Nissan. A car he recently purchased, and was having a problem with his key.

I called K&N, and spoke with the technical department, while I was in the waiting room.

The engineer, Shannon, had me read the code to her. Then she did research, and said the code was a malfunctioning Spark Plug.

According to the Diagnosis, there was NO problem with the airways, the air filter, and the K&N air filter had not caused any problem.

I put Shannon on the phone with the manager, and he claimed that he never said there was a problem, that it was something Nissan recomended.

Shannon, then research Nissan maintence recomendations, and there Nissan does not recomend and at time the Carborator be cleaned.

I tried to cancel the service, because I believe that I was lied to, and I was told that the service would not be canceled, and that I would not get back my truck unless I paid the full price.

I was also told, "Buyer beware." by the manager of the dealership. And that "it is up to the car owner to understand their car."

Nissan Corporate was no help, because it was not a warranty issue, and my credit card company claimed they could not help, because I authorized the service, and Gurley Leep Nissan did have my signature.

I would call these people Low Lifes, and I would say they cannot be trusted. Fortunately, I can rack this up to dealing with untrustworthy people, and feel safe that this has not effecting me to the point where a few hundred dollars is going to change my life.

If you have a limited income, a family, and cannot afford to be fleased. Gurley Leep Nissan is after your money, and they are not above taking it through deception.

Now that this is posted, I would wonder what is the next BS service that will be recomended by Gurley Leep Nissan.
