I purchased a vehicle from the above company, they sold it as a street legal vehicle. Today I took it for inspection and it failed basically the entire inspection. It was deemed unsafe to drive due to the entire drive train needing replacement. When I contacted the company they gave me the brush off and said sorry we can't help you. I am unaware on any consumer protection laws in MO for used, un-financed cars. I have not seen the title, but I believe they issued a 30 day tag for a vehicle that may have a junk title. Any help will be appreciated. They asked me to sign an affidavit that the car way sold in an unsafe state. When I questioned why I was signing this, I was told that this was standard and I was stating that I was responsible for making the vehicle pass inspection. They also issued 30 day tags on a vehicle they knew was unsafe by MO law to drive.
