On 03/17/09 I brought my car to Purrfect Auto for an oil change. I was told my rear brakes needed to be changed. So I got done and was charged $274.60 in total. Krist, the manager told my I was going to be hearing noises because of the brakes but will eventually go away. As I was driving off my car felt shimmy when braking and accelerated.
I had my boyfriend drive it and said to me that is not normal so he took it back to Purrfect Auto 03/18/09 and Krist had his mechanics look at it and was told to take it to the dealer because the it was the censor in the engine were faulty that had nothing to do with the brakes or what they worked on. I took it to Planet Nissan dealer.
First they showed me the throttle plate which was not in the correct position. That was the why reason my car was accelerating. Second, Was told that who ever did my oil change forgot to put in the washer, therefore my car was liking oil. Third, They found groaning from rear brakes due to chatted rear rotors, both sides. The mechanic here told me this was due to improper machining of rotors at time of brake job.
I had to pay $556.50 to fix what Furrfect auto had done to my car. 03/19/09. After getting my car fixed I went back to Krist and showed him everything the paper work that Planet Nissan gave me stating everything they did to my car and reason why each problem was caused. Krist told me, he will contact his boss so I can get a refund. But I will had to give him some time. He told me that he would call me on Monday 03/23/09.
Monday came and he never called so we called and was told his boss hadn't called back but soon as he did he will call me back. I have been calling since than but nothing. I was charged $ 274.60 for chattered rear rotors, unfinished oil change and incorrect service to throttle plate. PURRFECT AUTO if they made mistakes like that to my car and are not willing to take responsibility I am 100% sure they have done it before and will again.
