This was a horrible process. The total cost of the entire move was over $7,200.00. I still have not received my claim that I agreed to just to close this nightmare out. If I receive the reimbursement it is no where near the amount that I have lost in this move. I sent in my notarized copy in early January 09 and the claim company informed me that the moving company is suppose to reimburse me. Than what is the claim company for? From start to finish this was just a nighmare. I am quite sure it was a scam, they don't even have their own moving truck. I am told that this company is very bad. I had packers at my house at midnight on 1 August. My lease expired at that time. I was threatened by the owners, approached with inappropriate sexual innuendos from one of the packers. I was also told that my 'tip' money was insufficient. The same packer tried to coerce me to 'tip' more money to the four packers because they had been up and packing all night. Well, I was up with them too. Our items sat in a truck and were transferred two more times before they came here. Who knows it could have been longer, I am not really sure, since I wasn't there. I was threatened many times not to even make the delivery to Texas. The promised delivery was two days off, I was never given an exact date of delivery. He wanted to deliver the items at around 11:00 P.M. The truck was dirty, my items were dirty, my mattress never made it into a mattress box. When the 'movers' came I just wanted everything put in my garage. The movers weren't even official movers of the company. Mr. Heim made the trip, however, the 'movers' were 'doing him a favor'. I was told that anything that was broken needed to be found right than and there amid hundreds of boxes and furniture. I was harrassed for the $2,000.00 money that was already paid from my credit card. I was lied to, harrassed, offended and treated horribly. My husband is an active Soldier serving time in Iraq on his tour. I am a retired Soldier. I cannot believe this company is allowed to stay in business. I know they have had more complaints against them in the past. How is this allowed to happen? This happened over the course of a few weeks.
