I found what seemed like a good deal on leasing a new car. I worked out the deal on the phone with the salesman. That night I drove down to the dealer to get my new car. I signed all my paper work on the lease deal with Infiniti Financial Services. I was about to leave with the car & drive it home. Then they said, "we have a small problem". They showed me a small scratch & that the winow did not work correctly. They said we will need to have these things fixed. They would call me in a couple days and deliver the car to my house. A couple days later I heard that the dealership had problems. I heard that maybe thier cars got repossed. I did not know this for sure, so I stated calling over to the dealership. They would not return my calls. I tried to stop my check at my bank, but it was to late. It's been 20 days. I did talk to the salesman & new car manager. Part of the reason I got hold of them is I called from another phone number. After 2 weeks the salesman admitted the car was not there. At first they tried to tell me it was at the body shop.
I have orderd the paper work from the States Attorney General. I have a feeling that by the time anything can be done. The dealer will file bankrupcy.
Luxury Motors has $771.64 of my hard earned money. I now still need to get a car.
A warning to others. If I would have paid with a credit card, I would not be in this position. Now all I want is my money back.
