Ripping off the customers with promises and not delivering

Went in for a serpintine belt and was promised with a 6 month with a 6 thousand mile warranty on the belt. They put it on and drove off.

The next day i was still having the same problem like i never took it in (there was smoke, noise, power steering). They told me to bring it back and they would do a diagnostics test.

Took it back to that same day and left there over night. The next morning they called me giving me a long list of problems but told me the first thing to fix was going to be 500.00 dollars and take 3 hours (i ended up calling another mechanic shop for a second advise — they quoted me 250.00 dollars and 1 1/2 hours to fix it.

Went back to get the car unfixed — got someone else to work on it. Then they told me to get another belt (this first belt was only on for 2 days only) and a new battery.

After work went there thinking that i would get a replacement since it was under warranty & they said it was not under warranty and i would have to cough up more money. Drove off to another firestone store - thinking that they would replace it - - found out from this one that it was not under warranty by them because the other store is not a firestone store. They just carry the nam, e on the building - on their sign by the street, on the business card and you can get a firestone card through them too.
