American Engine Installation installed an engine in my vehicle in July although I seen the post here I decided to use them anyway because of the price. Yes they mislead me also with the warranty of 3 years or 50,000 miles well little did they say but it does not cover labor that's only 90 days. Well I went back to them in October with a warranty problem was told that AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATIONS was no longer in business, however the phone number and address is the same where I had my engine installed.
They told me that they which is now named ENGINE SOLUTIONS would help me but would have to charge me $1500 to in labor to repair the vehicle but would make good on the engine and even though they are not AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION that the labor wouldn't have been covered any way.
I did some researching and am warning every one that AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION is a rip off and are still in business under the name ENGINE SOLUTION still ripping people off. I read the report about the Colorado Attorney General suing them and the owner John Hartnack. I did research on ENGINE SOLUTION and found out it it was an LLC in Texas just like AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION but you would never guess that John Hartnack is on the LLC after further research in the Engine Company that provided AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION my motor which by the way ENGINE SOLUTION was going to get warranty Mr. John Hartnack is named on that company too which is located in Arkansas.
Did you also know that if you google AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION it goes to the ENGINE SOLUTION web site (engineinstallation.com) all this is the same as AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION and just read the warranty and so called Terms and Conditions are also the same as AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION how can the ATTORNEY GENERAL in TEXAS allow companys like this to operate when are they going to get aboard and go after them (Both Companies) like Colorado did. I say Good for Colorado running the man out of the state!
All phone numbers are the same, corp location in dallas the same, all other locations the same, phone number, addresses some even have the same people working at the so called ENGINE SOLUTION.
Please don't get ripped off by ENGINE SOLUTION they are a rip off just like AMERICAN ENGINE INSTALLATION just a name change Please be warned.
