NexTire Terrible Service

I have visited NexTire Woodstock on 4 occasions, 3 with my car and once with my girlfriend's. Each incident doesn't really sound like a big deal individually, but, collectively, it shows the level of customer service this company delivers on a regular basis. I can't imagine I'm the only one having these problems with them, so it has to be widespread.

The first time I visited NexTire was for a simple oil change. Like I've read from previous complaints against them, it took the technician over and hour to pull my car into the bay. The oil change took another 45 minutes, mostly because he spent his time goign back and forth between another vehicle and mine rather than just finishing mine. The next morning, and over the next couple days, I was noticing oil drippings in my garage. I took the car back in and was told the oil filter hadn't been put on properly.

The second incident was when I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Again, it took over 2 hours to get the car into the bay and to do the work. At one point, I approached the manager and asked, since I Was getting my tires rotated, if they could just check my spare to make sure it was ok. When they were done, I noticed I wasn't charged for the tire rotation and asked if it had been done. The guy at the desk said it had because he 'heard the manager talking about it'. On the way home, I called NexTire and explained that I needed a reciept for the tire rotation for my records. The guy said no problem. Then I asked, are you sure it was done... Can you ask the mechanic? Well, you can guess, it hadn't been done and the guy at the desk just didn't want to be bothered with making sure.

The third, and my final incident (because I won't go back there again) was recently when I brought my girlfriend's car for an oil change other work. We left it this time and told them to call us when it was done. I got a call about an hour later from the Manager, Bobby Brown, saying the car was leaking power steering fluid, but they didn't know from where. The only way to know would be to clean it up and insert some dye, and was quoted $29.99 for this service. When we picked up the car later, I asked where the leak was and was told we would have to drive it for a while then bring it back. This sort of pissed me off, but then I noticed they charged me $39.99 for cleaning the belts and inserting the dye. When I told the guy at the desk, Stan, that Bobby had quoted $29.99... And I kid you not... He sarcastically took out his wallet and said 'if the $10 means that much to you, I'll give it to you'. Well, I approached Bobby after that incident and he agreed that he had quoted me $29.99 and said he would speak to Stan, and would credit us when we brought the car back to see about the leak.

Well, Bobby did as he said and was great about it when we brought the car back. I never got sorry and an 'eat shit' from Stan, which tells me he couldn't care less how he treats customers. Needless to say, they won't be getting my business again, or anyone else that asks me for a place to take their car.
