I am a victim who bought a car from Brand 1 Autos, sale persons Harris Qureshi and Anna. I bought the 2007 Lexus RS 350 on 1/23/09. Base on CarFax report, this car was in perfect condition, no accident, no damage, clear title. I am not a person who knows a lot about the car body or engine. It looks nice and I bought it. After I bought the car I brought it to the body shop on 2/2/09 to check from bumper to bumper and I found out this car was in accident and totally re-paint from bumper to bumper. I called Brand 1 Autos but no one were there.
As of 2/17/09, I finally spoke to Anna and I tell her issue of the car, it's not the same as the CarFax report and you said during process, I want to return the car and she said our dealer does not accept the return, if you want to sue us, go ahead, you have your lawyer, we have our. Her sound doesn't care what I said. The car is in my hand, money is in her hand, she doesn't car anymore.
Also I went to DVM twice to register the car and the title still not release from the dealer. I call Anna today, 2/19/09 and she said your temporary tag valid to 2/23/09, you are ok to 23rd, I will release the title by 23rd. They took money 1 month ago and NOT release the title until a month later. When I paid them, I asked them when I can register, Harris said, 3 days after the check clear. The check clears 2 days after purchased.
I sent all paperwork to my lawyer and working on it.
Long story short! I suggest everyone DO NOT go to this dealer and DO NOT trust the CARFAX report. Spend your money and your time to any big dealership.
