I had called the company about cancelling my contract for warranty on a car I no longer owned. They stated that I had to notify them in writting that I wanted to cancel it. I faxed them a notice to cancel my contract in Nov. the same day that I called them.
On or about Nov. 26 I got a letter stating that they received correspondence from me requesting cancellation of my contract, it also stated that they would contact the warranty company to initiate the cancellation. Once they receive confirmation from the Administrator that no claims have been paid and they have not been charged for my warranty, they will notify the finance company to cancel the policy. And that it would take ten weeks to complete. Then if I am eligible for and requested a refund and that they would issue a credit to my card or send a check depending upon original method of payment.
It is now Feb. 12th 2009 and I have not gotten any refund.
I called the company yesterday afternoon and got nothing but, a run around, with voicemail to many different people; I did get one person to tell me that it is being processed and that it might take " Three " more weeks before I might get my refund.
