In the "What is not covered" section of my warranty, under exterior, they state that air and water leaks are not covered. The reason it is under exterior is because if the car is in an accident and causes water to leak through any damage to the body, they don't want to pay for body repair.
This is understandable seeing as it is the fault of the driver. However, I have water leaking through the cover to the cabin air filter and the seal around my heater core. These parts are clearly not part of the exterior and should be repaired.
The company has no argument to rebut this stateent and insists on hiding behind the wording in the contract. These parts are defective and should be replaced. When I get them on the phone and I argue this point and they have no answer, they put me through to a recording.
Now, because I can't afford to pay for a problem that is no fault of mine, I have to live with three inces of water in my front seat when it rains.
