I purchased a 2007 dodge dakota in June a new vehicle.
Listed on the included accessory"s was, siris radio signal for one year from purchase. The signal stopped in Febuary 2009.
I took my truck to the dealership, asking why the signal had stopped after only 6 months.
I was informed by the sales manager that, chrysler will no longer honor renewing the signal from siris after it had run out, regardless of when the vehicle was purchased.
I was not informed of this when i purchased the vehicle, expecting to recieve the siris signal until June. Now i have to pay an additional 4 months of service to recieve the siris signal. ($51.80)
The dealeship will not take responsiblity for my extra cost, citing "we sold the vehicle at such a discount, we cant afford to reimburse". Blaming it on chrysler corp, for selling them these vehicles, with expiring siris radio signals.
I say, too damn bad! When Integtity dodge puts vehicles on thier lot with a statement certain items "go with" purchase, they should be held
responsible.
