NATIONAL WARRANY does not honor their warranties. They have a bunch of loop holes written into the contract to get out of paying the claim

So earlier this week I took my 2004 Ford F350 into Westlie Ford to get a couple things fixed under waranty. The carrier bearing failed on the drive line, and the possi trac in the rearend quit working. Pat from Westlie Ford called back and said that the warranty company was sending out an inspector to look at the truck. A couple days later he called vack and said that the warranty company coverd the possi trac, but they were not covering the Carrier bearing on the driveline.

I asked for a customer service number for national. Pat said no problem let me know what they say. Here is the numbers 800-547-4710 and 541-746-2110. I called National Warranty to question why the item was not covered. I spoke to a Nick for a while and got nowhere at all. All he kept saying was we we are not going to cover it. I then asked to speek to his supervisor. He transfered me to his voice mail. I left a concerning message for a Paul Dean the supervisor. When Paul called me back I asked him if there was any way that he could help. Paul then said it was because there was rust in the joint??? I then told him the seal that keeps water out failed therefore allowing water in causing the rust and as a result causing the failure. Paul Dean stated that they dont cover anything with rust. I again repeted myself. The rust was caused from a part failure. Paul Dean then said that they don't and won't cover any damage that is as a result of another part failing. He even went on to say that if someone was on a trip and aquired an oil leak driving down the freeway which caused the Engine to fail they would not cover that either??? I thought to my self WTF kind of warranty company does not warrant part failures.

This conversation was very calm. I then asked him if they would make an exception because this truck only has 32,000 miles on it, and these parts should not fail that soon. Paul Dean's reply to me was no, my job is to protect this company and this is the Gamble you took. He then refered me to the section in my contract that states they don't cover rust. I am still thinking to my self that if the seal had not failed there would not have been any rust to begin with, and the joint would not have ever failed.

I calmly asked him to reconsider. His comment to me was that he would not help me and that it was the gamble I took purchasing this warranty. I then asked him one last time to cover it knowing that I have purchased two warranties from them, and that one went full term without ever having a claim againsted it. His comment to me was you win some you loose some. Wow what customer sevice? If this was my employee and I found out that he spoke to one of my customers like this he would be fired on the spot!

I will never recommend this company to anyone, as a matter of fact I will go out of my way to let everyone I know that this company is a scam. I will also tell as many people as I can not to buy a warranty fron National Warranty. They have no intensions on helping any of their customers in my oppinion. I'm of the belief that they want to take peoples money and forget they exist. Where is the customer service in that.

I would like to Thank Westlie Ford, Specificly Pat in the service Dept. He has always gone out of his way to help with anything I have needed there. Westlie ford knows how to take care of there customers, It is too bad the waranty company they sold me does not!

So Again DO NOT EVER PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM NATIONAL WARANTY! They are a bunch of thieves!
